Mustard Museum

In the historical centre of the Hanseatic city of Doesburg you will find a unique factory, which also serves as a museum. In 1974 the old factory was expanded with a museum. In the museum you can see how the original "farmer's mustard" is made.

The museum also houses old mills from mustard factories that have already disappeared. These can be visited in full working order. You will learn all the ins and outs of mustard production, how it used to be and how it is now. Did you know that the modern luxury jars are still filled with the old filling machines? The Doesburgsche mosterdfabriek is located directly next to the museum. The original Doesburgsche mustard is still produced here, which is available throughout the Netherlands.
