Crystal Museum

In the former town hall in Borculo you will find the Crystal Museum. The museum has a large collection of crystals, gemstones, minerals and fossils.

But you will also find the skeleton of a cave bear and the remains of dinosaurs. In the simulated mine you can see how stones grow and in the dark room you can discover what colours some stones give under ultraviolet light.

Afterwards you can wash 'gold' yourself and feel like a real treasure hunter. Which stones were used to make fire in the past? What does a meteorite look like in real life? And how do you sift gold from a river? You will find out all about it in the Crystal Museum.

Furthermore, in the beautiful museum shop you will find a wide range of special minerals and fossils, separately but also in combination with beautiful jewelry.
