Fire Brigade Museum

The Fire Brigade Museum contains a large collection of firefighting equipment that in the old days belonged to the equipment of many fire brigades. In Borculo, the Berkel town located in the Achterhoek, you will find one of the two largest fire brigade museums in the Netherlands.

The museum houses a unique collection of fire engines, objects, photos and other attributes. During the visit to the museum you will get a very good picture of fire fighting from the very beginning to the end of the seventies.

The current collection was obtained through many spontaneous gifts and loans, from both private individuals and fire brigades from all over the country. Also from outside the country borders are exhibited. For the children there is a fun puzzle route through the museum.

More information about the museum and opening hours can be found here.
